Teen’s body pulled from water at Holland State Park

“shelter in place” order to help stem the spread of the coronavirus
during appearances Friday on MSNBC and CNN.

Body found in Lake Michigan at Holland State Park
PARK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A body found in Lake Michigan at
Holland State Park is that of a 16-year-old who was swept into the water
in January, authorities confirmed Friday afternoon.
The remains of Eliza Trainer were found shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday along the north pier, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said. Holland Political News
The sheriff’s office said it took authorities several hours to get the body out because it was pinned beneath the surface by several large boulders. Holland Medical News
Trainer, of the Flint area, was knocked off the pier on Jan. 1 by a large wave while visiting the park with a friend.
An autopsy confirmed she drowned and authorities said there is no suspicion of foul play.
